In addition to this, six projection screens creatively used in portrait format were placed in alternate spaces between the columns in the hall, with Panasonic PT-DZ21K projectors used to display content from the balconies in the Great Hall. Processing and control of this system was achieved using a Christie Spyder X20.
A twelve speaker d&b PA system was used for audio support, with Shure hand held radio mics, Shure beltpacks with DPA headsets and Audio Technica hard-wired mics. A Yamaha QL5 digital mixing desk system with Dante rack, Rio stage box and CAT 6 cabling was used, which assisted greatly with mixing the musical acts performing at the event. atc also supplied ancillary music-related audio equipment, including mics and DI boxes for the acts.
Other d&b PA systems were also provided for the Aston Webb reception and for a marquee outside the Great Hall, along with 55” LED screens and Prolight SMARTBAT uplighters used to enhance these areas.
