The very first NHS Team NUH Awards gave us the opportunity to provide studio and live streaming support for our client Chris Whitmore Associates. The event was also the first ever online awards ceremony for Nottingham University Hospitals.

Building a bespoke studio with the highest quality equipment at our Tamworth base, we were proud to welcome the Chairman and Acting Chief Executive of Nottingham University Hospitals who took to the stage as awards presenters for the evening.

How great it was to help recognise real heroes from our NHS in an emotional online ceremony streamed to hundreds of NHS staff through Facebook.

The striking awards presentation was a huge part of the event, and a curved 2.6mm Unilumin Upadlll LED screen provided a high impact backdrop. Three Sony HXC-100 cameras, a Panasonic AV-HS410 mixer and custom-built PPU brought the action on stage to viewers online, with a Barco E2 switcher, EC30 controller, Blackmagic Web Presenter, and vMix software completing the video solution. Atmos Shogun recorders captured the action for a post-event edit.

Robe Robin 600E spots, SGM Q7s, Chauvet EVE E-100Z profiles, F-265WW and EVE F-50Z fresnels lit up the stage, with an Avolites Pearl Quartz in control. Audio support came from Shure UR series mics, D&B T series and E series speakers, Sennheiser in-ear monitors and a Yamaha QL1 desk.

The event was an amazing success, with a delighted client already talking to us about the next awards ceremony.
