ATC was once again asked to provide technical and event production support for JLR’s Long Service Awards event, this time held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
This event recognises and rewards long serving JLR staff members, in the form of a gala dinner with awards and entertainment.
Working in conjunction with JLR’s Global Events Team ATC provided all production support equipment and items of event furniture.
The video provision included ATC’s 3.9mm LED screen, used in multiple vertical strips instead of a standard screen ratio, plus six Panasonic PT-DZ21k projectors. Video input and processing was via laptops including Macbook Pros, Sony HXC 100 and HSC 100R cameras, PPU and a Spyder X20.
Multiple stages were used, and all guest tables were lit individually so the lighting specification for the event was extensive. Vari-lite VL3500 and VL3000 units were used, along with GLP X4s, GLP Impression X4s, Colourblaze LED strip, Expolite LED pars and Clay Paky Mythos forming the main part of the specification. These were controlled using two Grand MA2 Lite desks.
Other areas including vehicle displays were lit with Prolight SMARTBAT uplighters and Studio Due Archiled 150.
D&B V and T series were used as PA for all areas, with Shure radio mics, full technical support for the artists performing and a Yamaha CL5 digital mixing desk as control.
For technical support Heads of Department for each technical discipline were appointed to oversee equipment specification, design and installation onsite, with sixty crew onsite per day.
ATC also assisted the JLR Global Events Team with creation of the presentation content.
