Land Rover Long Service Awards
The Monarch Suite at the Metropolitan Hotel in Birminghams NEC is familiar territory to atc – they have just completed their two-hundredth event in the room. This time it was for a client that has been with them from the very start of the company – Landrover.
The Landrover Long Service awards are an important marker in the car company's calendar as it gives them the opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has contributed so much over the years. The event must go right in front of the 800 strong audience – which is why atc is repeatedly brought in to work with them.
Recognising 25 and 40 years of service, the event was hosted by Rory Bremnar, with dancing and after dinner entertainment. As part of the stage show, atc produced a stunning video montage of world events 25 and 40 years ago, as well as information about the cars that Landrover made then. Much has changed...!
The event was large and complex. An ultra-wide screen, powered by a Barco Encore system was at he heart of the set, and atc supplied cameras, PPU and the racks of Hipppotizer media servers that were needed. atc also provided and installed all the extensive lighting needed for the various different parts of the evening, and the D&B sound system.
Andrew Thomas, MD of atc said; "we have been working with Landrover for many years, and as with all our clients, we give them the best value we possibly can. This was a fantastic show for the people who have served Landrover for so long, and we were delighted to be able to contribute to their enjoyment. I think we will be up for our long service award soon!"
