How do I book equipment?
The easiest way to book equipment is to call 01827 301010 and speak to a member of our hire team. Alternatively you can use the AV Quick-Hire tab on this website and the hire team will get back to you as soon as possible.
How do I work out what equipment I need for my event?
There are a number of variables in planning any show, from the size of the audience, size of the venue, show content and venue restrictions.
You will need to consider what you want to have in the show, for example, video clips, powerpoint images and what set you wish to use. The desired effect of your event should be thought about, for instance, do you want to achieve a flashy corporate presentation or may be a glitzy presentation dinner?
Once the above has been considered then give our hire team a call and they will assist you from there.
Can you support all of our production needs for my event?
Yes we can. ATC can produce your presentation powerpoint or flash, carry out the production of your videos through to the design of your stage and set. We also incorporate the lighting and sound design. Our projects team will guide you through each stage making your event a pleasure to organise.
Do you supply set and staging?
ATC do not have in house set and staging facilities but we work in partnership with other companies who offer set and staging at competitive prices.
Do you have in house video production facilities?
We have a studio which caters for show pre-production to include editing of materials which clients are more than welcome to take advantage of.
My client would like to see the presentation before it goes on site – can we view the presentation and edit before the show?
Yes. ATC encourage our clients to see the presentation before going on site in our studio at our premises.
Can I view the equipment I’ll be hiring?
Yes – clients are welcome to view equipment at any time.
What support would I expect? Is there out of office hours callout? What happens if my equipment breaks down on site?

Do you operate just within the UK or do you work abroad?
ATC can supply equipment and services anywhere in the world.
How can I see what my event will look like?
ATC use an industry award winning software package called Wysiwyg which enables the client to fully visualise what their event will look like. With a strong focus on lighting, Wysiwyg contains a library of every lighting fixture currently available.
How can I justify a budget on an event to the end client?
Wysiwyg enables you to show the end client exactly where their budget will be spent, therefore accommodating any budget.
How do I determine the screen size required for the show?
By constructing the environment in Wysiwyg and applying the proposed powerpoint onto a screen, it is possible to determine whether the screen size is legible from the back of the room and change it accordingly.
Can I add your equipment to compliment mine?
Yes, ATC offer full equipment support no matter how small or large.
Is your equipment regularly serviced?
All of our equipment is constantly maintained and PAT tested with our trained warehouse staff.
Do you offer risk assessment or health and safety packs?
Yes, this is a service ATC can offer.
